After 15 years as head of school at Moses Brown, Joanne P. Hoffman retired her full-time administrative position to serve as a volunteer for several key interests, including Beacon Academy and Axis of Hope in Boston, Community Preparatory School in Providence, Rhode Island, and the Asheville School (North Carolina).
