Mary Ellen Hansburg has been a classroom teacher at Columbus School for Girls (Ohio) for the last 25 years. Teaching in both the middle and upper schools, she has taught history and English in both divisions; she holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Gustavus Adolphus College, a masters of arts in teaching from the University of Chicago, and a masters of theology from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Hansburg has been an adjunct professor at Otterbein College, Columbus State Community College, and Ohio Christian University.
