NAIS Strategy Lab Workshop: Vision and Strategy: Your New-Year Refresh
This virtual, team-based workshop series is designed to support schools in reaffirming their purpose, clarifying their future vision, and setting action priorities. This workshop series offers schools an opportunity to explore new frameworks and approaches that break away from traditional strategic planning processes. It is especially well-suited for schools early in their strategic thinking or those that believe they could manage the planning process internally—without hiring an outside consultant—if they had a clear structure and a guiding process for their team. This workshop includes a pre-session on January 8 and a post-session on March 19.

NAIS Strategy Lab Workshop: AIM to Action: Advancing your Community Goals
This multi-session, virtual, team-based workshop series is designed for school teams who have previously completed AIM: The NAIS Assessment of School Culture. Through the NAIS Strategy Lab’s tried-and-true strategy-making model, this workshop helps teams continue to diagnose what your AIM insights reveal about your school and focus on areas of concern. Teams apply innovation frameworks and engage in thought exercises to generate exciting possibilities and plan for an effective implementation and rollout of new ideas. Leave with a pitch deck and a concise, compelling story that outlines how your AIM findings have led to innovative approaches to reach your larger community goals. This experience includes a pre-session on January 22 and a post-session on April 16.

Great Schools Partnership Workshop: Introduction to Designing, Building, and Sustaining Restorative Practices
The need for community and connection in schools is more crucial now than ever before. Traditional systems of punishment and expulsion have been found to be inequitable and ineffective. This two-day, in-person training session introduces educators to key skills and considerations necessary for building and sustaining restorative practices at school and district levels, provides opportunities for engagement and practice, and offers a framework for effective implementation in diverse and individualized contexts. This is not a sit-and-get class, but rather an opportunity for participants to engage with each other through an active series of discussions and activities.
